Custom Garment Retainer Policy

Upon engaging The Fortunate Fox to create a custom garment or accessory item, the customer is entering into a contract for service and product to be delivered by a specified time. A non-refundable retainer will need to be paid at the time of acceptance of the customer’s order.  The contract between The Fortunate Fox and the customer shall not become effective until the retainer fee is paid.  At the time the contract takes effect, The Fortunate Fox shall reserve the necessary time and materials to complete the order, and not make any other reservations or accept any other clients that may hinder the ability to meet the order requirements.  For this reason, in the event that the customer cancels the contract or fails to maintain contact with The Fortunate Fox for any reason, all monies paid shall be retained by The Fortunate Fox in order to offset its loss of business.

Fee Structure:

$25 for a single garment

$10 for each additional garment to be completed under the same order

If for some reason, the customer’s order is cancelled by The Fortunate Fox due to circumstances beyond its control (illness or acts of God) that render normal business operations impossible, monies may be refunded for work not yet completed.

Return Policy

Cardinal Rule: Do Not Open You Package with Scissors. I use either paper based envelopes or poly bags that can be easily torn into without the use of scissors. Items damaged when opened are not refundable.

Ready to Ship Items may be returned if unwashed and unworn. Please contact The Fortunate Fox within 7 days of receipt of the item to request a refund. Return shipping may be refunded if item is deemed defective.

Custom items are made to fit based on measurements provided by client. If you need to return an item for fit problems, it should be in unworn and unwashed condition. Please contact [email protected] within 14 days of receiving you items if fit is a problem. No other returns are accepted at this time.

Shipping Policy

All items are shipped with insurance, so if your item is damaged during shipping, please document with pictures of packaging PRIOR to opening AND of the damaged item. I take great care in packaging items. I will work with you closely to remedy the situation but the most I can offer is the value of your invoice in the case that the particular fabric chosen has been discontinued or is too cost prohibitive to obtain for a replacement garment.
